Facility Rentals

Need space for your next party? Check out the Finnen Community Room located inside the Penn Township building or our pavilion and gazeboes located at Penn Township Park! Our spaces are wonderful locations for baby showers, graduation parties, birthday parties, or meetings and other various events. We do not rent our facilities out for fundraisers, soliciting purposes or for any public or private political function unless special written approval from the Penn Township Supervisors is granted. Anyone over the age of 21 is allowed to rent the facilities but Penn Township residents will receive a resident discount on their rental fees. Check out the rental applications below for more details and pricing. 

If you are interested in renting you’ll need to;
1. Contact the Penn Township office for available rental dates - April through October are busy rental months, if interested in renting contact us ASAP. 
2. Carefully read through and fill out the designated rental agreement, then turn it into the office.
3. Bring your cash deposit in with your completed rental agreement to officially reserve your event date.
4. Pay the balance of your rental fees no later than TWO WEEKS before your event, or your reservation could be canceled.

***IMPORTANT NOTES FOR RENTERS:
> If you rented in the past, our rental agreements and rentals fees have been updated and changed as of February 2024. We urge you to carefully read through the new agreement for updated policies and fees.
 
> Our calendars are filling up fast! If you are interested in booking a date, please contact us ASAP. We can hold dates for a week, if you need time to get your deposit and paperwork ready. 
 
> Full payment for your reservation is due NO LATER than TWO WEEKS before your reservation. Your reservation WILL be canceled if you have not paid in full by then. While we do our best to give you a courtesy reminder, ultimately it is the RENTER'S RESPONSIBILITY to make sure their reservation is paid in full. 
 
> PAYMENTS: All deposits MUST be paid in exact cash (we do not carry change). The rental & security guard fee can be paid together or separately, we accept exact cash, checks made out to Penn Township, or credit cards.
           Credit card service fees: 
  • A $3 minimum will be charged to your card as a serve fee for charges under $100.00
  • 2.65% service fee when charges are over $100.00

The Finnen Community Room 

The Finnen Community Room at Penn Township is the perfect indoor space for your rental needs. The ceramic tiled facility with an attractive foyer and beautiful stone hearth fire place creates a comfortable setting for any event. A kitchen with a full size refrigerator, sink, microwave and counter space is included with rental of the facility. The room has seating for up to 84 people with ample parking available. Renters, please note that alcohol is NOT permitted in the room, no exceptions. Please read through the rental agreement for room specifications, rental fees and other information you’ll need to know when renting the room. Finnen Room History: On December 9, 2015 the community room was named to honor Bill and Jane Finnen for their dedication to Penn Township and the community. This room was constructed at no cost to taxpayers.

Finnen Community Room

The Penn Park Pavilion

Situated in the center of the beautiful Penn Township Park stands a multi-use pavilion perfect for picnics, parties, reunions, etc. The pavilion is perfectly positioned near the playground, charcoal grills, horse shoe pits and volleyball court (Please note: you must bring your own charcoal, balls and horse shoes). The pavilion offers 14 picnic tables and enough seating for 100+ people. Renters, please note that alcohol is NOT permitted in the park, no exceptions. Please read through the rental agreement for pavilion specifications, rental fees and other information you’ll need to know when renting the pavilion.

Park Pavilion

The Penn Park Gazebos

In addition to the pavilion, Penn Township Park also has four white gazebos that can be rented out for smaller functions. Each gazebo is outfitted with two picnic tables and can seat about 20 people. Renters will be able to choose which gazebo they would like to reserve. Renters, please note that alcohol is NOT permitted in the park, no exceptions. Please read through the rental agreement for gazebo specifications, rental fees and other information you’ll need to know when renting one of the gazebos.

Penn Park Fire Pit 

In 2016 Marvel’s Landscaping generously donated materials for and built the Penn Park Fire Pit. Situated near gazebos 1 & 2, the fire pit is able to be reserved alone or when renting out the park pavilion. We do not rent the fire pit out to reservations with more than 75 guests. The fire pit is a perfect addition for a s’mores night, summer BBQ’s or spooky stories in the fall. Renters, please note that alcohol is NOT permitted in the park, no exceptions. Renter's will need to bring their own materials to light and maintain the fire, however, we will supply the clean-up materials. Please read through the rental agreement for specifications, rental fees and other information you’ll need to know when renting the fire pit.
