SAVE $ and Recycle Asphalt Shingles
Residents and small jobbers, who are replacing asphalt shingles and would normally dispose of them at the Chester County Solid Waste Authority Lanchester Landfill, can now save money and recycle those asphalt shingles at the same time. Residents may unload their clean old asphalt shingles at the small load facility drop-off for a reduced fee of $35 a ton. No wood, trash or plastic will be accepted with the reduce fee, however, tar paper and nails are not a problem and may be included. For more information contact 610.273.3771.
